Publishing themes

Today a theme is published per store: upload it as a .zip in Storefront › Themes, or build it in the code editor, then Publish. To give a theme to another merchant, download it as a .zip and send it; they upload it to their store.

The theme store (phase 2)

A Sooquna theme store for first-party and partner themes is planned. Themes listed there will need to:

• pass the theme check with no errors;
• support English and Arabic, right to left included, with complete locales/en.default.json and locales/ar.json;
• score 90 or more on Lighthouse mobile on the home, product and collection pages;
• meet the accessibility checklist;
• ship sections for the built-in store features, with capability;
• include a theme.json with a support URL and documentation.
