Store features

Sooquna has storefront features built in, switched on per store in Storefront › Features: wishlist, product reviews, back-in-stock alerts, size guides, quick view and more. Shopify needs apps for these; in Sooquna the theme draws them and the platform does the rest.

Give the section, block or settings group a capability:

blocks/wishlist-button.liquid (schema)
{% schema %}
{ "name": "Wishlist button", "capability": "wishlist", "settings": [] }
{% endschema %}

While the feature is off, the file renders nothing, and the visual editor hides it. In other code, check features:

{%- if features.wishlist -%}
<a href="/wishlist">{{ 'wishlist.title' | t }}</a>
{%- endif -%}
Key Feature
wishlist Wishlist, with a /wishlist page (wishlist)
reviews Product reviews (product.reviews, product.rating)
back_in_stock “Notify me” on sold-out variants; features.back_in_stock_whatsapp when alerts can go to WhatsApp
size_guide Size charts on product pages
quick_view Quick view from product cards (?view=quick-view)
image_zoom Zoom on product images
product_badges Sale, new and bestseller badges (product.bestseller)
stock_status Low-stock and sold-out messages
related_products Related products (recommendations)
product_search Predictive search
whatsapp_share Share and chat buttons for WhatsApp
announcement_bar The announcement bar
newsletter_capture Newsletter sign-up and pop-up
order_tracking Order lookup at /orders/lookup
gift_cards, gift_message Gift card products and gift messages

Unknown keys are nil, so {% if features.something %} is safe in any store.

Sahil ships every feature’s section or block (blocks/wishlist-button.liquid, sections/product-reviews.liquid, blocks/back-in-stock.liquid, blocks/size-chart.liquid…), each with its capability. A merchant who switches a feature on sees it on the storefront at once, with no theme edit. Copy that pattern: ship the feature’s markup, and let capability decide.
