color

A color picker.

Schema

{
  "type": "color",
  "id": "brand_color",
  "label": "Brand color",
  "default": "#8A1538"
}

Value in Liquid

A hex string (“#8A1538”). Works with the color_* filters.

Usage

--brand: {{ settings.brand_color }}; --brand-soft: {{ settings.brand_color | color_modify: 'alpha', 0.12 }};

Compatibility

Differs from Shopify

The value is the hex string, not a color object (.red, .rgb aren’t available); use the color_* filters.
